Sodium fluorosilicate

Sodium fluosilicate (English name: Sodium fluosilicate) is an inorganic compound with the molecular formula Na₂SiF₆ and a molecular weight of approximately 188.06. It is used as an opacifier for enamel products and a clouding agent in glass production, as well as a flux in the smelting of metals such as aluminum and beryllium, and as a functional filler and cross-linking agent for plastics and rubber. In the construction field, it serves as a key additive for acid-resistant cement, concrete, and mortar. In agriculture, it is a primary component of defoliants and wood preservatives.
